Ivana Grossi, the designer who in recent years has stood out for her dedication to handmade women’s footwear, is celebrating five years of creative work this year. To mark her five-year journey in the world of fashion, she presented at St. George Lycabettus in Athens an elegant, limited collection that for the first time combines handmade shoes and dresses, creating a complete experience of refined elegance.
“I always design based on what I would like to find in my own wardrobe,” Ivana Grossi explains. “I create what I long to wear myself. The result is deeply personal, familiar, and genuine.”
The way the garment feels on the body is the designer’s central point of reference: “My priority is the sensation of the fabric on the skin and how it behaves once worn. For me, true luxury is the balance between elegance and comfort.”
The brand’s philosophy is clear: every piece is produced in limited quantities to remain unique. “Those who discover it first enjoy the true experience of the collection,” Grossi says. “Every woman who wears my creations deserves to feel unique — always distinctive, never copied.”
The collection is aimed at women who are mature, confident, and sensual, who love their bodies and seek ways to highlight their everyday elegance. Although clearly a haute couture proposition, the collection remains faithful to the designer’s belief that authentic luxury should be lived, not stored in a closet.
The presentation evening at St. George Lycabettus unfolded into an authentic celebration of femininity, music, aesthetics, and individuality — an experience that perfectly reflects the world of Ivana Grossi.
